had to review the recording to be sure of the Kupang ID. Thanks to Craig

That's a good one, but a little late for here generally, at least at this time
of the year. Many times hear Radio East New Britain there earlier.

I do have a QSL from RRI Kupang on the frequency from February 1991.

Glad to hear the DX season is getting off to a good start for you.

Maybe you can catch Kupang immediately after RENB's typical 1200 UTC
sign-off. On the West Coast we have little chance of hearing Kupang when the
PNG is blasting through; RENB is typically the 2nd strongest PNG after the
national outlet on 4890.

I'll be returning to the WA coast in a week and a half for another
DXpedition, so I hope to hear RRI Kupang better from there.

BTW, sorry about the accidental duplicate posts of this log.

I was listening to RENB this morning, still on past 1200... or seemingly so, or
perhaps I'm hearing Kupang underneath, but it would seem then that RENB has not
dropped their carrier at least as of 1212.

I'm still a bit noise limited here at present, a situation I hope to have
eliminated by the 22nd.

Oh yes, I was also checking 3390 for Gangtok, but only a het here. Still far to
early in the season for the Indian regionals.
