Connecting small radio to larger speakers?

If I buy one of the Degen 1103 or something along those lines, can I hook it up
to my larger stereo reciever with better speakers? Maybe through the headphone
jack or something? I just don't really like listening to stuff through a teeny
speaker.

There's probably a simpler solution, but I bought a cheap small FM
transmitter from Radio Shack, called a Sound Sender (Omega Electronics
FMX01) that I put into the output jack of my small Grundig. I use that to
b'cast to the FM band -- boombox or stereo receiver -- you can select a
frequency between 89-95.5 MHz, and it amplifies nicely throughout the house.
Works for me!

When does a teeny speaker become an adult speaker....?
Just curious... :-)
Just connect a pair of better ones amplified PC-speakers...
