Every hundred years a new discovery
 

It's hard to believe, but no white man had ever seen a gorilla before 1895...it
had been an unsubstantiated legend that the giant ape existed.

Well, Africa, the mysterious Dark Continent, apparently had at least one other
mystery beast. The BBC World Service* is reporting that a giant ape, capable of
killing lions, has been discovered.
