Fascinating rebroadcast documentary. Some details:
-Morning of 11 Sept 2001, Osama bin Laden's brother was in a meeting

with
the Carlyle investment group with Carlucci (spelling uncertain).

The
question is why they didn't detain this guy and the rest of his

family for
interrogation and questioning instead of flying them back to Saudi

Arabia
on the only plane authorized to fly just after the terror attacks.

The
implication was Saudi investment in the past into Bush family

business.
-Carlucci is the seediest little old man, who likes to say "its just
business". Sounds like the Godfather movies.

I noticed your instincts were working well below regarding the
incredible junk in Fahrenheit 9/11. You should use the same BS
detector here and you'd be well served. The bottom line is this--none
of these alleged "documentaries" are credible because the left--which
controls and dominates media, film and the arts has long since given
up any pretense to objectivity. If the right dominated in the same
way, I would say the exact same thing.

It is way to easy to allow perspective to control fact. Some of the
stuff you've cited from the film is interesting enough in a vacuum,
but you can rest assured it was not "vetted" for objectivity and was
cast in the most sensational way possible. Case in point would be the
first item above. Richard Clark--darling of the left for his book and
a prominent talking head in Fahrenheit 911--has acknowledged that -he-
saw to it the Saudis were flown out of the country after 9/11.
Somehow I suspect this item was not covered, as is often the case with
inconvenient details that "spoil" the fun. It's very unfortunate
that we're living in an age where polemics trump history, but, unless
one takes the time to read legitimate history, rather than watching
what's produced by those with an agenda, that's what one gets. End
of rant.
