I grew up in St. Paul in the 60's (now a resident of Texas), but I seem to
recall one time around then that we could see the lights. Sure doesn't happen very often. MJC "Buzzygirl" wrote in message news:mQzjd.6475$V41.3812@attbi_s52... We usually don't see them here with all the ungodly light pollution... I'm just north of downtown St. Paul, MN and the aurora borealis are very bright to the north, east, west and overhead. Sheets of green and even red. Haunting and beautiful! The lower SW bands are "hissy" and otherwise pretty quiet where I am at... Jackie |
