You need to refine your data for a clearer picture of the issue. How
many of 'em were x-posts?

If all we are allowed to talk to other shortwave listeners about is
shortwave radios, then I say lets find another group.

Mike--what do you listen to on shortwave? I listen to Int. Broadcasters
mainly. What do they broadcast? News correct? What is news. Lot a
politics in News you know what I mean? If wasn't for the Politics and
related stuff I wouldn't even listen. Why isn't politcial stuff (opinions
granted) appropriate for this group?
I like hearing opinions from other people and countries. Quite frankly the
technology of shortwave is only so big and only so interesting. What
Shortwave brings to people is even more interesting. Different points of
view. Quit trying to discourage this. Let it happen brother. There are
some excellent major contributors to this group--give them respect my
brother. Get off of their backs.

Because this isn't a political newsgroup, brainiac.

I like hearing opinions from other people and countries. Quite frankly the
technology of shortwave is only so big and only so interesting.

If you're not interested in the newsgroup's real purpose, then you're
not required to participate here.

You need to realize just because you can hear certain types of
programming on a radio that it doesn't make this newsgroup free for
every single topic under the sky. What the hell would be the point to
having 100,000+ newsgroups if everybody could just post their
off-topic crap here? All they have to say is "I heard it on the
radio." Then, let the deluge of off-topic postings flood out the
shortwave radio related matters and render this newsgroup just about
worthless to people interested in the shortwave radio listening hobby.

They are very impolite to post here when its nothing to do with shortwave
radio, just bad etiquette.

Lets have more RADIO please.

Mike

The Brainiac? I've been called alot things but --Brainiac-----------hmmmm!
You are a real sweetheart aren't you?
oh I know a real shortwave kinda super duper guru type
woman right? Ah baby--I'd love to turn your radio on.

Life is political!--- Shortwave is all about life in other countries for the
most part. Therefore shortwave is quite political actually.

I disagree with you sweetie-- ( i'm sorry your highness , QUEEN SHORTWAVE)
you and Mike need to leave this group and go seek your holy grail so to
speak. This group isn't for you --it's about shortwave = (life, opinions,
other countrie etc.) (oh yes some radio stuff too). You know what? this
group is the best. Wouldn't chg a thing. Leave it alone please.

I will never bow to you oh mighty Queen Shortwave.

I bet you believe in the choice to "kill babies don't you" (abortion). I
heard something on shortwave the other day about that. Shortwave helps me
to form my opinions about what is right & wrong in this ole world. I love
shortwave.

Love the group--show respect my not Queen.

Perhaps you'll do the same there Mike... I've been in this hobby for a very long
time, and I've rarely ever seen you post or contribute anything that approaches
being original.
