So an English schedule would be confusing to other language listeners. They put out their own schedule pamphlets but no magazine, stuffing their envelopes with New Year cards at this time of year, and copies of the appropriate language Beijing Review or China Today. (How else do you get Esperanto reading materials?) Still the Spanish and Portguese services of CRI are the best. -- -\_,-~-\___...__._._._._._._._._._._._. (How else do you get Esperanto reading materials?) Howdy Dan, Interesting point... obviously there has been a change at CRI regarding the Messenger. I looked through my piles of mailings and it seems that beginning with issue Vol. 15, No.2 (March-April 2004) they dropped the schedule. Gee... the first thing I would do when I got the Messenger was to check the frequency listing so it was the first thing I noticed that was missing. Tucked into the March-April 2004 issue I also found the schedule for the English Service---so I'm OK now. RG |

RG Radio Guy, The "Re-Ability" Factor of any recurring eMail goes up when it is Kept 'short' by providing 'Links' to bits of Text and Formated Data that may not change with each eMail Message. The second Advantage to this Structure, Formating and Presentation of "Information" causes the Reader-Recipient to Click-On the Link. This can be Tracked by the 'originator' of the eMail back to their WebSite and allow them to better 'identify' the needs of the "Customer" of their Informationa and the Service they provide. coomunications - something to think about ~ RHF .. .. |

RG,
The comment was not directed at your posting to this NewsGroup. It was in 'reference' to the eMails from China Radio International and other eMail type "News Letter" providers. Things like a Schedule that may not change with every eMail are best 'communicated' by making them "Links" within the eMail. This also aides to "GET" the Reader to Click-On the Links and thereby Count and Track Your Active Readers. {Cookies} The majority of the 'Text' within the Monthly, Weekly, Daily eMail should be Fresh "News" [What's Happening Now !] that the Reader will like to know and be interested in Reading when they OPEN the eMail. hope this clarifies the prior post ~ RHF .. .. = = = "RadioGuy" wrote in message = = = ...
