I think it would be very interesting if they would turn out a separate receiver that would operate in the same fashion. I did read the other information about the 756Pro and it does always seem as if some reviewers give ICOM bad marks for audio. For whatever reason that 'trend' has been going on for 20+ years. Apparently, Universal Radio keeps one of them (IC-7800) in stock.
