KFAQ 1170 is audibly strong in Central Ohio today,


KFAQ 1170 until a few years ago was KVOO a 50000 watt clear channel station
and had a huge set of towers that was built in the 20's. I assume KFAQ is
still using the same towers (they are still standing) and same power. When I
was a kid in the 40's I lived about a mile from their towers and when I
built xtal sets that was the only station I could get.
