Recommendations Kaito KA1102
I am looking to purchase a good radio to use at work and home. At my office
there are a lot of pcs. At home I want to listen to SW and AM. Has anyone had problems with this radio? There is a mail-order in Ontario Canada selling them for $99 CDN plus shipping.. Just wondering if this is worth going after. |

I have one and it's a nice radio. It has an included external wire antenna that plugs in to a side jack, which greatly improves its performance. You can buy it direct from Hong Kong via Ebay for $50 (US) plus shipping, which was $25 (US) to California. It's the same radio, and comes with a manual in English. The Ebay username is Liypn and I think his store is called V COM Communications. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 100,000 Newsgroups ---= East/West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |

sensitivity below 5 mhz..sebsi drops off above abt 15 mhz..i think the degan 1103 is a better radio-and cheaper also (altho bit larger)..all avail via EBAY. |
