I don't mean to sound ghoulish, but I don't think Chuck Harder is with
us anymore.
His Web site has not changed in 11 months; he is not on shortwave
anymore, having gone off WHRI last July; he hasn't posted any columns
or op-eds or letters to the editor in nearly a year.
I've tried to call in to his program (1-877-CHUCK57 or
1-877-248-2577), and all I get is a dial tone.
I've heard that all his DVB TV broadcasts are reruns nowadays, as are
his radio programs.
If he indeed is no longer with us, it wouldn't be the first time a
controversial celebrity has kept his demise a secret. Remember Jim
Morrison? Or Elvis?

If Chuck Harder were still around, he'd be all over the media, saying
"Here I am! Look at me! I'm still here!" But he hasn't. He's been
stone cold silent.
Truthfully, I never thought about this in quite this way before. Call
it an epiphany on my part, but it makes perfect sense now.
Brings to mind that old aphorism that all other things being equal,
the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. I believe that is
called Occam's Razor.
