GREAT! Downloaded and installed very quickly. Have the regular clock
at the lower right and UTC at upper right.

Really Easy to install!

Thanks for asking this question. I decided to switch the time display in
Windows XP to 24 hour.

Now, I have a question. Is there a way to show TWO times in the XP
toolbar? I'd like to show local (EST) time as it is currently and also
have a label "UTC HH:mm" which would be local + 5 hrs, except when on DST
which would be local + 4 hrs.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

Al

Hi Al

You can if you load a 3rd party clock into the toolbar.

I installed third party - Alpha Clock - so I could have BOTH the local
time (24 hr format) and UTC 24 hr.

Thanks,

Al

Of course, besides downloading a third party free or shareware
program, you could get Windows to do it provided you are willing to go
all the way and get rid of the 12 hour clock and local time period.

You can change the time display to 14:24:32 (you can use another
character like dot instead of colon but I'm not sure if you can get
rid of the separator altogether) in Control/Regional and Language
Options.

Hit the Customize button and on the advanced sheet change the hh:mm:ss
tt to HH:mm:ss. (capital H, no tt)

You can also choose your time zone (control date/time or double click
the time in your task bar and use time zone sheet).

You want GMT (Cassablanca/Monrovia) and DON'T AUTO ADJUST THE CLOCK
FOR DST. (I suppose if you choose that option, the difference between
GMT UK and GMT Africa doesn't matter.)

Thanks. Got it. (In case no one noticed ;-) I started with the newest
messages and am working my way back.

Hi Al,

If you mean showing two clocks in the "System Tray" as its called, then no,
you can't do that. But there's quite a few free downloads out there that
will allow you to configure a number of clocks and display them on your
screen.
