suggestions re- cause/cure for very low sensitivity- all band ranges- for this
radio--if it is tubes-where is the best place to buy them(ie price/fast service
etc)?

receiver operates normally except for the very low sensitivity.

The rec.radio.amateur.boatanchors news group is better suited for your
questions on the R4B, which BTW, is a great radio.
