Have noticed an interesting signal which has been reported of late on the

WUN
reflector.

I am hearing the phrase "Varmint, I'ma Gonna Blow Yah T'Smithereens" on

3700 at
0935 UTC. It is preceeded by some sort of digital sounding transmission.

Interesting I guess is why this continues to be repeated.

anyone have any idea what this is? still readable, but,
fading...

Still very audible here at 2152. I don't think anyone has quite figured out just
what this is as of yet, perhaps just a prankster.

I'll be interested to see when 3700 fades in, as it would seem that Yosemite Sam
has a western location.

I can now hear Yosemite Sam on 3700 at 2330.

The WUN listserver shows Yosemite Sam on 6500 as well. Heard here at 0045.

At the risk of colliding message threads - Perhaps this is the
"GO" code for kicking off the secret Wolfowitz plan to nuke
Houston?

We'll know on Tuesday, won't we? If this signal means that the
Konspiracy Kooks are finally right, then we may all be in deep trouble,
not just the Texans.

YS is still comming in on 3.700 mHz at
07:10 UTC (02:10 AM) in Western MD
about s3 to s5. and also on 6.500 slightly
weaker. Band seems open to the west.
Also noted foreign speaking stations on
3.700 probably Mexico or Western USA.

Question: What is the URL of the WUN ListServer ?
Is this some kind of an SWL Message board..?
Not familiar with this one pse post a link - tnx!
