Not to surprising. It's most certain to go higher than what it already is. It's
a logistical nightmare just trying to get to all the affected areas.

The red cross is the biggest ripoff going and the international red cross
is scum!
They stab our troops in the back and then want our money.

And not that it may be true, but what EVIDENCE to you have to support this
claim?

Wal Mart has started taking donations here. You can give whatever you
want when you go through the check-out. They scan a bar code next to
the cash register and it adds the amount to your total.

The Red Cross ( or one of the Bigger charaties) is probably the place
to send whatever you can / Want to send..

NOTHING you do is going to reverse what happened...

Ever give Blood and have them LIE to your face and tell you if you ever need
it they won't
charge you for your own blood?

- & Who'd want Your blood anyway...
They usually throw Drunks out at the Red Cross..
- Can't sell a pint of Blood there..

- Donating Blood is probably a good way of reducing Cholesterol..

The figure on BBC on RCI is in the 140 to 170K range. This doesn't account
for missing people, nor for those who'll die from disease in the coming
days/weeks. There is no one talking about anything near a million.

On other news, there's an email scam trying to represent tsunami relief.
Make sure you donate to reputable charities and not crooks.
