I wonder how this all fits in with DRM and Sirius. How is the compatibility?
Is it apples and oranges? Will the general public avoid all of them until
the dust settlers? I see a potential problem with them all interfering with
normal broadcasting.

I know that personally, I will avoid the subscription types like the plague.

I like to think it's anyone who gets a bit too full of themselves.

The real quotation is a bit different.

It's from a book of his called 'The Colour of Magic'

"Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the
sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and
shouting 'All gods are *******s'."

The first book of his was written at some very young age..around fifteen, I
think.

It's fun. He's unpretentious and great for kids of all ages.

Tom Sharpe is funnier, but in a different way.

I see Eton has added an "add-to-cart" button for the E1. However, when
clicking on it, I get "Our etón E-commerce site is temporarity under
construction ...".

Is this radio available yet?

Nope and based on the history of this model I don't really ever expect
to see one released for sale. This radio has been promised for
something like 7 years and every time they announce when it will be
ready to hit the market they postpone it.

I like Terry Pratchett... "Good Omens" (which he co-wrote with Neil Gaiman)
is pretty funny, considering the unusual subject material for a "funny"
book.

Actually, it's been almost 10 years and the d--- thing ought to be
postponed AGAIN as it's obsolete even before it's introduced!
