Any way to recieve Sideband, RTTY, Morse code and Fax on Kaito KA1001?

I want to be able to listen to utilities on my new portable. I also
want to be able to decode RTTY, Fax and Morse through some sort of
interface software on my computer. Is there any way to do this?

It can be done if you have the right software on the computer. Just
feed a line from your line out or earphone outlet on the 1001 to your
sound card.

I forget the name of the software. There are probably several very good
ones. You may want to check out
http://www.westmountainradio.com/RIGblaster.htm for a hardware and/or
software approach - or just do a search for RTTY on the web.

PSK31 might also be a good program to look into.

So is there any way to get sideband on it? And does asnyone know any
good RTTY stations?

There are companies like Ramsey that sell kits for external BFOs. The
kit probably cost more than the Kaito, though.
