$1000 during the depression and are amazing radios when restored.

If it sold for $750 in the 1930's, it would cost about $8600 in today's
dollars. $20K is really not much of an appreciation over 80+ years.
There goes my plan of retiring some day from the proceeds of my R8B. ;-)
