I ordered two. It's a technological wonder. No more will the common folk
have to suffer the insufferable dxHaze's taunts and jibes...not like he'd
know what that means, anyway...

Mike, this sounds as good as the "Fifty-foot Extension Cord" which
actually allows ANY AC-powered radio (not only short wave receivers) to
be moved ANYWHERE in a fifty-foot radius! (Watch out for walls or open
windows.)

Anybody want to bid on one of those? My price is cheap but wait until
you see my shipping charges!

Best,

Joe

During the campaign debates Mr. Bush had a coiled Super Zepp hidden on
his backside underneath his suit. He was receiving hints and kinks from
Cheney on Wake Island.

This thing reminds me of the guy who came up with
the tiny-tenna a few years ago and made a couple
thou$sand$ selling them to shortwave radio listening
PAY-triots and other like-minded suckers.

Isn't it just amazing how you can make big bucks from
useless crap if you market the same to morons?

Bwaaa hahahahaha! I hope this guy sells 500 of em to the
goofballs that listen to Alex Jones and Coast to Coast
AM! I mean, why should C. Crane be the only guy
on the block who sells chinzy Chinese made radios
at a 2000% markup to geeks, dopes and PAY-triots...?

If she doth protest too much, you may require TWO. Some muting may be needed.

LOL! I saw a slinky ("The Original") in a store the other day for $3.99.
Yeah, I thought about it for a good minute, then convinced myself it would
rust out in no time. But I was *thiiiiiiisss* close to picking one up, just
for the sake of comparing a slinky to a plain old wire...

Well, I did pick one up myself yesterday (Thursday), and plan to play with it
myself on Saturday (seeing that I am officially
laaid-off from the airline I work for on Saturday). We'll see if its any
different from the 20' longwire that I use now, for SWL.
the only thing I gotta do is sleep, eat, work, poop and pay taxes, everything else
falls into the 'I'll get around to it" catagory.

Sorry to hear about your job. How long were you there?

The CBC had a show on yesterday. Some security guru was saying that in all
probability, a national security card will be mandatory within the next
eighteen months in order to get on a plane anywhere in the states.

have you heard anything about that?

I used to have one of those Slinky's back in the 1950's.It was fun
watching it "walk" down the steps.

They won't rust. They are made of stainless steel. I've had one up in my
backyard for over 3 years now. It is getting a covering of air pollutants,
that's about it...

The one I saw *looked* like plain ol' spring steel - not bright like
stainless... Perhaps different manf's use different materials? I don't
know...

I had one that was copper plated.
