Has any here done the audio modifications from Kiwi
on an Icom R-70 (replacing caps in the audio circuits)). Comments on it? |

Yes, I've done it , it works splendid on mine, so good as on my R71.
But BEWA a friend of mine did this KIWA mod on his, the audio improvement is NOT so significant as on mine ! Why ? It's a mistery ! He is sure he followed the instructions carefully ! I must say I was not at his side when he achieved it. Putting just one single cap at the wrong place could be the reason ! Hope it helps D.
