6605 kHz from New York (Single Side Band)
Who is broadcasting on this frequency?

It might be aeronautical traffic on that frequency; listen for their ID, if
they are broadcasting weather conditions they may ID themselves as "New York Radio". If they are managing air traffic, you may hear them ID themselves the same way, and be directing aircraft to change direction or altitude, taking check-ins from flights or giving approach control frequencies or giving other SW frequencies to use to communicate with other air traffic control centers.
