The profit has spoken (again).

Put the Sears/Frog-7 on the profit's call in show to go to sleep by
last nite.

Did I hear this right?

Did profit Stair really say there is going to be a tsunami in this
hemisphere someday real soon?

That it's gonna start on the southern tip of Mexico and go to New York
City?

And travel at the speed of a jet plane?

I didn't hear him say anything about it, don't listen to him that
regularly. However, Steve Quayle mentioned something about the fault
that runs from about Newfoundland, I think, all the way to Antarctica.
(? the longest fault in the world - about 8800 miles long? ) He
mentioned ** the possibility ** of a tsunami occurring. I don't know
that he mentioned the speed, height, devastation or when it MIGHT occur.

At the mid-atlantic ridge, the plates are moving apart and new crust is
being created. This is different from, say, the San Andreas fault, where
plates are scraping each other in a shearing motion and creating many
earthquakes, or the thrust faults around the Indian subcontinent, where
where mountains are slowly being uplifted due to the collision of two
plates (and generating many earthquakes). I believe since there is not
much stress at the mid-Atlantic ridge (relatively) the change of major
earthquakes is small.

" There are 2 major geological faults in southwestern Newfoundland. The
Cape Ray Fault is about 1 km wide and crosses the Trans-Canada Highway
(TCH) between the entrance to John T Cheeseman Provincial Park and
Barachois Brook. This fault extends for about 100kms (60 miles) and
eventually crosses the Burgeo Highway.

The largest and most important fault in the area is the Long Range
Fault (Cabot Fault) which runs from the bridge crossing the TCH at
McDougall's Brook to the northeast coast of Newfoundland at the Baie
Verte Peninsula. This fault also runs through Nova Scotia and New
Brunswick. The Long Range Fault once marked the boundary between North
America and Europe before the two continents separated about 200
million years ago.

Neither one of these faults is active. "
