If you'll scroll down to the two maps at the bottom both indicate a
bright blue adjacent to a bright yellow just about the center of the
map. The colors indicate temperatures with the blues and yellows being
extremes from the norm.

There are actually three that could affect America. LA area, the one
referenced above and one on the NW of South America where South and
Central America join.
