Why is that any different than someone paying $500.00 for an Icom R71a,
$900.00 for a Sony 6800W Orange dial, or $3,000 and a Panasonic RF9000.
Ebay is about as close as we will come to a perfect market, or one
that reflects the true market value for an item. Someone wanted the
radio more than you did and was willing to use his wallet rather than
his mouth.
