Antennas For GE SR111 Need Help
 

Just got one. Problem: Static noise on AM. Live in a large High Rise
about one block from a central command police station, broadcast
antenna in use. Need an external antenna I think. Which should I try?

Depends on your pocket book. :-) Radio Shack has AM/MW external
antenna for about $30 or so. http://www.ccrane.com/ has a selection of
them. I think you can find a pretty good somewhere in your price range.

If that cold water pipe connects to a plastic cold water pipe
somewhere,you are wasteing your time.

Thanks. I'll try different grounding connects. There's a 50 ft.
Steel guard rail outside my apt. first.
