in distress.

Yeah, I'm listening up on 8983 and apparently CG 2139 was diverted to
take part
in the SAR.

I could not receive it on the lower freq. but got a brief blurb on 8983
USB. I thought I heard "Georgetown" which might be SC. There is a low
passing through the lower part of NC today and causing a lot of rain for
the coastal area. I expect the waves are a bit high and visibility may
also be reduced somewhat. ...Not a good time for smaller vessels to be
out, but I don't know the size of this one.


Didn't hear anything about 'Georgetown' but did mention Cape Cod.

I haven't really listened to anything but utes and stuff for years, not
counting the whack job preachers. The BBC is on PBR and I listen to that
a lot in my truck.
