Radios with AM Sync Detection

The YB400 and Sat800 Grundigs are very fine radios. I have one of
each. For bedside radio useage, the 400 would do nicely. The sync
detector is a useful feature to have. The 800 works wonderfully, but
the price makes you have to really want it. The 400's lack of sync, and
the 800's price and size, would probably steer you towards the Sony
7600, of which I have no hands-on experience.

I doubt it. He does like to **** people up however...

Hmmmmm... interesting comment, perhaps you might elaborate a bit more,

Looking for a phone number, pervert? Dates must be difficult for your type.
Cuhulin, being a notch above you on the evolutionary scale, had no such problems.

AOR 7030 and Lowe have options for synch but I haven't heard either with
synch. Perhaps someone here will comment.

Hi All,

I would like to acquire a radio with AM sync detection. I'm not too
concerned with the size of the thing since it will primarily be my bed
side receiver. Could those who have used them give me some feedback
concerning the relative quality of the Sony 7600GR vs. the Grundig
Satellite 800 or any other receivers out there which have their own built
in antennas? Due to lack of room and too many antennas in the air
already, I need something which does not need much beyond its whip antenna
or 20 to 25 feet of wire laid along the floor and hung out the window.

Thanks much in advance for the help.

Sync is standard on the 7030, it works on weak signals, and it doesn't
growl like other radios. I'm not a big fan of sync, but there are times
when it comes in handy.
