PINGING dxAce...

Hello dxAce, this is Bill from Macomb, Michigan, do you copy?

Considering you are in Michigan, and quite knowledgeable about HF, I think
you'd be the person to ask...

What does the Michigan area provide in the way of shortwave, HF listening?
I'm not interested in regular broadcast for entertainment, or amateur radio,
but more for government, military, and coast guard. Have you explored these?

Thanks,

Bill Crocker

I'm not quite sure what you are asking. Are you interested in HF only from
Michigan?

If that's the case, I'm really not sure how much is out there. In the past I've
heard the Coast Guard on HF here, and there certainly used to be some ship
traffic on HF, but I've not checked that out in a good number of years.

No, but you certainly are.

Continue to tote, and be sure to get back to me if you actually hear something

Sorry to piggyback on this, but didn't you buy an R8A
recently, Ace?? Have you had a chance to play with it
yet and compare it to your other Drakes??

Yes, it's pretty much similar to the R8 and R8B. I don't note any real
differences in receiving capability. Currently sitting in the box whilst I
decide what to do with it.

Point? Like the one on your tin-foil hat, 'tard boy?

Quick, I think your mommy might just tell you where she hid your radio. Ask
nice.

LMAO at the 'tard.
