Killen Convicted of Manslaughter in 1964 Slayings (Update4)

This guy pushed his luck.

He got off with a hung jury (11-1 for conviction) a LONG time ago. Most
folks would get the message and keep a low profile and even consider moving
WAY far away.

But No....

He got back on the radar of the authorities by working to get a Klan rally
in his community. Trouble is that it is a majority BLACK community and the
local "law" wasn't amused.

I notice that he seems to be on O2 and confined to a wheelchair. If he
used to be a heavy smoker and he wasn't using the wheelchair and O2 to make
him look pathetic, then if his lawyer can tie things up a few months in
appeals, the preacher will likely die in his own bed and not in a prison.

Sorry Sweetheart. If there was such a thing as a vengeful God,
there's be a big gaping crater West of Baltimore.

Terry Pratchet is fun. The last work of his I read concerned the civilizations
living a carpet and their fear of the unknown in the 'underlay'. Good stuff..
