Default No Live 8 broadcast?

Thank you BBC TV, but too bad U.S. could not copy you all over here.

Disappointing. Folks were paying 500 pounds per ticket, but no concert
on American TV, nor SW neither, ratings would have been tremendous!

Not sure I understand your comments.
Are you talking about Live8?
I watched some of it on VH1 and MTV.

Mr. H. Field,

Where is "over here"?

It was on TV in New Zealand. Don't know that it was on shortwave though.

Mark.

I listened to it on XM radio. Each city was on a different XM channel.
