Last Saturday night West coast time the reception was good for me to the
early hours of Sunday morning around 3AM. I tuned in again around 9AM and things sure went down hill since then. Saturday I noticed the 21 MHz band was poor but other bands were good. Australia on 21,740 was poor and Radio Netherlands was good most of the time on the 17 and 15 MHz bands during their 19 to 21 UTC broadcast and today they are much weaker than yesterday on all frequencies. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

Periodically they are good for a few minutes. I don't hold out much hope of Australia being any good on 21,740 at 22:00 to 00:00 UTC. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

Yeah wasn't good tonite at all (3:00 - 4:00 UTC). My favorite 31 meter band was very noisey and the 19 meter band was very bad. -- Brian Denley http://home.comcast.net/~b.denley/index.html |

I checked 15170 at 0300 and noticed that Saudi Arabia wasn't there-last night I heard a faint but listenable signal with prayers that went on for 30 minutes, continuously. It was that wailing chanting and it didn't stop for a half hour. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |

According to http://www.sec.noaa.gov/alerts/warnings_timeline.html EXTENDED WARNING: Geomagnetic K-index of 5 is extended through till some time tomorrow afternoon. Things have recovered somewhat as I have a good signal on New Zealand and Australia on the 15 MHz band. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

I am in San Diego, and I noticed last night I couldn't even get some AM
stations let alone SW broadcasts. I was able to hear Japan and Taiwan ok, but Australia which is usually strong, was really bad. |

I had 640 KFI fading out on me so I noticed the poorer reception on AM broadcast band also but Australia and New Zealand were OK later in the evening. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

I had some good reception here in Huntington Beach. .540kc was coming in good
with oldies music, Greece came in good around 0245 GMT on 7475, Ukraine was on 7440 at around 0250 GMT and Japan was okay on 17825 at 2215 GMT. Good Listening and DX! -- Stewart H.
