Radio Australia 11.880 at 9:13Z
 

Bad alergies this moring so instead of tossing and
turning I decided to listen to the radio. I was
moderatly suprized to receive the ABC on 11.880
starting at 09:00Z. S2 with a lot less static
then I expected. News follwed by current afairs
program. Freedom of speech etc. "What are the
limits of Freedom of Speech."

R2000 with a ~70' wire antenna.

That would be "Australia Talks Back", Radio National's nationwide
call in show.

Hmm, 11880 isn't a Central/South Pacific frequency at that time.
(11880 comes in best here at their 17:00-21:00 transmission).
Looking at the schedule, it's an Asian frequency from 09:00 to
13:00. For North America, it's usually just 9580/9590 at 9:00
(for an hour or so until 6020 and some others come on).
