About S5 here, a slight delay from 15190. Australia is booming in on 9580.

I'll verify that - 20 over 9 at 13:10 UTC, also in SW Michigan.

Maybe the USA loses another BBC HF opportunity? Did Singapore move?

Hmm, let me rewind my cassette recorders...

From up here in Seattle, the 13:00 UTC tape (Global Business) was OK,
a bit more 5 kHz het than usual, so it was probably a weak signal, but
should be listenable. The 14:30 tape (World Business/Analysis/Science
in Action) was just fine.

And now (16:57 UTC) 9740 was there in some South Asian language and 7160
was in English an a listenable S-4.

Check your antenna, maybe the ground squirrels (or Burr) ate it.

How do 9580 and 9590 compare? Usually I get a bit stronger signal
on 9590, but the audio has some digital crap in it.

I think 9580 is one of RA's transmitters at Sheperton (sp?), and
9590 is one of the Christian operated ones at Darwin.
