What was the model of those Drake radios Chuck Harder used to advertise
for about $240.00 on his radio talk show about eight or ten years ago? I
think they were Drake SW2 radios.I came close to ordering one of those
radios,I dont know why I didn't,but now I wish I had.

My AMDX bedside companion. I use it with an MFJ-1024 remote active
antenna and can get every station up the West Coast to Canada, East to
the Rockies. At least 6 or 7 George Noory feeds every night.

About 25 years ago I bought a new Panasonic RF-2600 AM/AM/Shortwave
radio for about $160.00 at a Service Merchandise store.I own some old
off the wall brand name thrift store radios that work at least as well
or better than that radio does.I reckon I like my old beat up Goodwill
radios better.I never know what I will find over there.I will be over
there tomorrow at about high noon time as usual.

I am listening to radio station WTIX 690 (AM news talk radio station)
out of N'Awlins on my Panasonic model RF-708 radio.A guy at WTIX said he
is going to a book signing in Dayton,Ohio.N'Awlins is 180 miles due
South of Jackson and of course it has that far away back ground
sound,but otherwise,the radio station comes in pretty good here.At night
time,it comes in much better.Interestingly,JT and Dave are doing their
radio talk show www.supertalkms.com today from the New Orleans
Fish House restaurant on McDowell Road Extension here in Jackson.
