For what purpose. The broadcast will be the same old stuff: Net
control reading old NWS messages and noting ham checkins by callsign.
If prior years are any indication the net will not be used for its
intended purpose.

Vero Beach,Florida is the latest news I heard about Katrina this morning
on my radio of where Katrina might hit,of course, that could change later
on.I have heard two seperate times before on my radio of some folks
think Katrina is a cool name for Tropical Storm Katrina.Sheesh, how crazy
is that? I reckon some folks thought Camille was a cool name for
Hurricane Camille too.Give the Devil his due.
