Test Equipment Newsgroup

Is there a newsgroup for test equipment questions, particularly
oscilloscopes? I got a Tektronix 2430A with power supply problems, and I
would like to discuss this with someone.
Thank you.

I've noticed Tek test equipment sometime discussed on
sci.electronics.repair, rec.antiques.radio+phono and
rec.radio.amateur.boatanchors.

The Antique Radio Forum is a web based group which has a subgroup called The
Test Equipment Forum:

sci.electronics.equipment, and sci.electronics.repair as a second
option.

About eight years ago,I saw an old Ocilloscope at the Rescue Mission
thrift store in Pearl,Mississippi.I reckon I could have bought it for
two or three dollars. But the front screws were unscrewed about halfway
out.I figured it wasen't worth me messing around with and I dont know
anything about them gadgets anyway,so I left it sitting there.
