The French Quarter is on almost the same level that the Mississippi
River is.That area is as flat as a table top,no hills.There is a little
park area by the Mississippi River where you can walk up some steps and
about fifteen or twenty feet beyond that area,there are a lot of seats
and some steps where you can step right down to the edge of the
Mississippi River.
