Best price on Grundig S350 DL?

Does anyone know where I can find the lowest price on the Grundig S350DL in
The States? I've seen them for $149, but haven't seen them for less. Thanks
in advance-Scott.

Me too,if I wanted to buy a new Grundig radio,I would step over to the
Radio Shack store (after first stopping off at the food court and
flirtin with them gals www.metromalljackson.com) and buy the Grundig
radio of my choice (and back over to the food court and impress the gals
with my "Grundig") and if I didn't like that Grundig radio,I would
(after the food court thingy again) take it back to the Radio Shack
store for a full refund and stop off at the food court again.

I was looking for the newer "improved" DL (deluxe) version called the S350
DL. Thanks again.

He paid $75 and they sell retail for $100. Sounds like "75% of retail" to
me.

Just received my S350 today for $69 shipped via Ebay. Looks and works like
new. Anytime I can save 30+ bucks buying via the net I go for it. That's a
week's worth of gas for me.

Factory refurbs and shelf models are only ok if you can get them for
75% of retail.

At $75.00 I would opt for a fully warranted new one from Radio Shack
for $99.00.

He is looking for the S350DL not the S350.

I am going to the wal mart foodstore this afternoon.I will stop off at
the Radio Shack store at the Mall again and see whether or not it is a
S350 or S350DL radio. There is another Radio Shack store next to the wal
mart store and I will stop off there too.

Not so sure about the difference in performance, but there is most
definately a difference in price...

The drift problem seems to have been fixed, at least it's no longer a
problem on my S350DL. It's also very sensitive off the whip antenna.
The S350DL is now my portable radio of choice, beating out the YB400,
Sony 7600G and ATS909, all of which I own.

How does the new, improved 350 DL compare to the original 350 version
as far as sensitivity... i.e. are they the same in that regard?

What about the selectivity of the 350 DL compared to the 350?

I have the Tecsun version of the 350... a BCL2000. I love it for MW, but
rarely use it for SW due to less than stellar selectivity. Mine is one of the last
Tecsun models with English lettering and I don't have much of a problem with
drift. So I'm wondering if upgrading is worth it, just to have no drift... or are
sensitivity and selectivity improved enough to make the switch?

Thanks for any feedback.

I cannot answer that question, I have never used the S350. The
following article suggests that it is not worth upgrading at this
time.
