Question for Pete the smart guy
 
My HF-150 reads 1 kHz low. How can I fix this? Performance is
nominal otherwise. Thanks.

The bandpass seems correct but the ''S'' modes don't lock unless the
readout is 1 kHz low.

The VR-5000 isn't really a shortwave. It's a wideband receiver. The R-75,
a true H.F. rig, tunes from 30khz-60mhz. That's quite a spread...
