Interesting auction of a Sony 2010

The 2010 really is the 'king' of commanding high prices on ebay. It's
holding its value better than most portable receivers, that's for sure.

Average for a 2010 on Ebay is about $350 for used no box and $500 for new /
mint boxed. Considering they sold new for $350-$400 and haven't been
produced in a few years... those prices aren't that bad.

I see 2010s all the time at large hamfests in the $150 to $200 range. One
seller at a hamfest earlier this year had a mint 2010 in the box with all
paperwork for $150. Still kick myself for not jumping on it.

Look at the GE SRII. They sold new for around $30. They go for between
$50-over $100 on eBay. Go figure.....

Whomever bought that Sony 2010 radio for $1,175.00,(or whatever) it his
(or her) money and he (or she) can spend his (or her) money in whatever
way he (or she) pleases.
