In England, after the Suicide bombings on the London Subway killed over
50 people and injured hundreds, a similar bill was suggested...

http://www.techcentralstation.com/083005A.html

"Fortunately, someone seems to be listening.

Last Wednesday, Home Secretary Charles Clarke promulgated a list of
"unacceptable behaviors" that would warrant expulsion from Britain.

These include "fomenting, justifying or glorifying terrorist violence"
and "seeking to provoke others to terrorist acts."

Preaching and public speaking are explicitly listed as vehicles of such
actions. This policy will hopefully help eliminate genuine religious
hatred and the violence it causes"

It's one thing to get on the air & read James Joyce or Henry Miller;
Or William Burroughs..

- But quite another to suggest harming a specific group..

You and me, in the case above..

England is famous for its off the wall eccentrics.

To see how ridiculous this terrorism crap is, we had a
telephone workers' strike out here a year or so ago. A few wires in
phone boxes got cut. The first thing the looney tunes cops had to say
was that, if the guy was caught, they were going to add a 3 or 4 year
" terrorism enhancement' to the charges.

When they were hustling some 80 year old guy out of a meeting
(maybe Parliament) in England in the past day or so, some guy
objected, saying something to the effect of "Be careful -- he's an 80
year old man". So they pounced on him, too, and hauled his ass across
a few rows of seats. Once outside, he was excluded from re-entering
the building, as reported on the news, by applcation of recently
passed "anti-terrorism powers" granted to the police.

So we have ordinary vandalism in the US and a simple scuffle
in England both elevated to terrorist acts by power-mad,
testosterone-poisoned cops. Thanks, Shrub. Thanks, Tony Lapdog.
Heel,Tony, HEEL.
