Science, by definition, is apolitical however any of the 'political machines' will use it (or select portions of it or just plain junk-science) to further their cause when necessary. I am pretty sure some conservatives feel scientists are evil. It is common for folks of strong religious belief (no specific denominations mentioned) to presume scientists to be lacking in religious faith though many of them (scientists) have said that as a result of their studies they find their faith in 'a creator' to be strengthened. I endorse teaching our children about science, religion, history, the arts and especially critical thinking. Religion will not suffer, people will still find faith and some will still be agnostics as has been the case over the history of mankind. Also, science will not suffer and we will continue to lead better lives as a result of it. Just my opinion - your mileage will undoubtedly vary. |

That is completely false and a deliberate lie. To deny a choice is in essence advocating that God does not exist and that only Science can offer answers to ALL questions. Including "spiritual" questions which is non-sense. This exclusion of religious thought/theory in itself is evidence of the endorsement of ideology that the Communist Party is in essence god and IT is the center of the Universe. Study Communist ideology and that is what you will find there. Atheism is their religion where the Communist Party Politburo IS your living god - literally. |
