It's well worth trying to repair. You have some top class radio outfits in the UK: Waters & Stanton http://www.wsplc.com/ who have a very comprehensive website. Martin Lynch Haydon Communications and a couple of others. A search through some of the UK magazines like Short Wave Listener, Radio Active, Short Wave Magazine and others may reveal further leads. They have experts who will offer you good advice. I would think a Sony 7600GR would be a good replacement for a 2010 if you can't get it fixed, which you should try first. Thanks for your advice. I have looked at Waters & Stanton and, aside from the fact that the website is verrrrrrrry slow, it looks good. I suspect they will repair too. -- Chris Hansen | chrishansenhome at btinternet dot com |http://www.hansenhome.demon.co.uk or |http://www.livejournal.com/users/chrishansenhome/ |
