Voice of Iran
Hi gang,
Anyone know if the english service listed on their Web page is accurate and how it is received in the US? Thanks! Bob |

Here in the middle of Tx. they're usually audible (on 100' of wire,)
on 9.495, but it's rare that the signal is strong enough for easy listening. Down here, (at least,) another station overpowers them on 11.875. A while back I stumbled on to their broadcast to the Indian subcontinent on 15,600 but that was one of those minor miracles of propagation, (that we enjoy so much.) I've got a MFJ 1025 on order which I'm hoping will improve the situation. Here in NYC, I find that my reception of Iran is 'seasonal'. A few
months ago, I was getting it every night with a very strong signal. Now, I receive it regularly but the signal isnt' so great. Same with Radio Lithuania. Steve |

Bob 0130-0230 Iraq in English to North America is heard here in MN most nights, listenable strength some nights, no interference. They often ID as Voice of Justice, though many publications just show it as Voice of Iran. georgesmn |
