Hurricane Watch Net
The Hurricane Watch Net is up and running with K5SIV doing net control from
Austin, TX, on 14.325 mHz. Signal is real strong here in Lakeland, FL, since he is beaming this way, of course. My county, Polk, is currently under tornado warning as the first bands from Wilma come across the state and a tornado was spotte to the south, moving this way. Our area is also under tropical storm warning, expecting trop storm force winds and rain as Wilma approaches, makes landfall to the south, and crosses the state tomorrow. The next 24 hrs. is going to be lively around here. Greg |

Are there any 75 meter hurricane nets tonight? I'm tuning around, but no luck so far. |
