I think what you have is some combination of the following:
1. The tendency of humans to want to see patterns in random
characters.
2. A ditigal image that could have been distorted at any point in the
transmission and decoding.
3. The possibility of manufactured or doctored images.

It is either a Hoover vacuum cleaner specially designed for cleaning
all that windy dusty low pressure Martian atmosphere. Or it is the
bleached skull of a martian cow.
