Has anyone had any experience with this PC controlled HF receiver? It's
set up to be compatable with DRM. Universal-Radio has them for $328.00.
Seems reasonable?

I've heard that it's a great receiver, despite it's DRM compatibility.

I personally don't see any attraction to DRM so that's a non-factor to

me,

Ditto on DRM but love the 320, purchased mine when they first came out and
have never had any problems with it.

Is that really a good shortwave radio? I think Ten-Tec is located not
far from Nashville.I need to buy some Jeep parts for my 1942 Willys Jeep
and www.jeepdoc.com (Krage MotorSports) is located in
Savanna,Tennessee.Quite a long ways from the Nashville area though. It
would be a nice drive someday, last time I was in Nashville was 1974.I
don't think I would be interested in a PC controlled radio.

I think it is a great radio, I found a sight that makes a conversion
kit that will make it work like a regular radio with a wooden box,
speaker and knob iam waiting to here back from them on price

Ten-Tec has been manufacturing radios for 37 years.I hope they will be
manufacturing radios in America for many, many more years too. They must
be doing something right.

I bought a Ten-Tec in the first place when it first came out. But I
ended up using a WinRadio because it is so much better - no apologies
for that! :-)

I prefer putting my money on excellence, not on nationality. Rewarding
a manufacturer with my hard-earned cash simply because he is based
in America would be a false type of loyalty which can in fact only
encourage mediocrity and decline.

I want the best product there is. If it's made in America, great, I'll
buy it. If it's made elsewhere then fine, I'll buy it too. That's what
competition and free enterprise means. That's what makes progress
possible. That's what America is all about.
