3000 KHz - 4000 KHz band question

It's a tropical band, so unless you're crusing the Spice Islands, ie.
the Southwest Pacific, you're not going to pick that much up. There used
to be a lot of Cental/South American stations, but they've gone over to
local FM band transmitters.
