? Advanced Receiver Research (AR2) Receive Only Broadband Pre-Amplifiers ?
 

I've heard nothing but good things about ARR gear. However, you are
probably correct that most situations will not find this preamp to be
useful.

How about following this preamp with a passive splitter to make a low
noise multicoupler?

Are you using the Pre-Amplifier In-Doors in the Shack ?

Or - OutSide the House at/near the Antenna to Coax Cable
Feed-in-Line junction.

"M" - I was thinking of using it with a One Meter
Loop Antenna out about 50 Feet and up about
50 Feet hanging off a Tall Fir Tree Limb. ~ RHF

You have a point about using the amp for a remote antenna. However, I'm
not sure you want 50 ohms impedance on the input.

I haven't check the price of the amp, but you should compare it to the
Wellbrook ALA100, which could be used in the same application (remote
antenna), plus it is designed strictly for loop antenna applications.
It also floats the antenna above ground, i.e. the input is balanced.
