Drake SW2 vs other mw receivers?

I'm wonderering about the Drake SW2 vs other receivers as far as MW
RECEPTION ONLY!!!

I dont care to hear about price or portability or anything OTHER than
MW performance of said radio as compared to the likes of other radios
like the Panasonic Rf-2200/ Sony Crf series or other renowned MW
performers and such like the Sony icf-2010 and such...

Quite good. I usually need to narrow the passband by ''tuning away''
from the Synchronous sideband selected by about 1500Hz. This fattens
the signal up a lot. The R75 in SSB mode is quite good, too.

If both the r75 and sw2 were the same price and such, which one would
you prefer to own for mw dxing?

Get the R-75. You will have more control over the passband and have
more features that are useful. The SW-2, however, is still a credible
receiver on MW.
